The application deadline for our 2020-2021 Kindergarten and 5th Grade lotteries was Monday, April 1 at 5 p.m. If you would still like to apply for a Kindergarten through 8th Grade seat at one our schools this fall, you can complete an application by clicking on the link below. The application will automatically be placed on our waitlist.

2020 Kindergarten and 5th Grade Admissions Lotteries

The lotteries for all our elementary and middle schools took place on Thursday, April 2. Families who are interested in viewing a live recording of the lottery can watch the video below.

Eligibility

Uncommon Schools NYC is open to all residents of New York City. Children entering Kindergarten must turn five on or before December 31 of their enrollment year. We are proud to serve all students – including those with special needs and English language learners. Our special education team ensures that students with special needs have the support, services, and accommodations they need to succeed.
