Welcome to Uncommon Bed-Stuy Pre-K

Uncommon Bed-Stuy Pre-K is located in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant Students. Students have the opportunity to attend our neighboring schools: Escuela Primaria Uncommon Bed-Stuy West for grades K-4, Escuela Secundaria Uncommon Bed-Stuy West for grades 5-8, and an Uncommon high school for grades 9-12.

Dedicated Learning Space

Co-located on Uncommon Bed-Stuy West Elementary and Middle School campus in a space that is reserved for our pre-kindergarten program, with clean and spacious classrooms, indoor and outdoor playspace, space for enrichment, and dedicated restrooms.

Uncommon Bed-Stuy Pre-K prioritizes each student. With two teachers in every classroom and 18 children per class, we aim to ensure each child gets the targeted attention they deserve.

Our approach supports children in meeting developmental milestones while fostering social-emotional growth and excellence in academics. Our certified teachers develop a personalized learning plan for each child, with an emphasis on one-on-one and small-group instruction. Best of all, our pre-K students will be welcomed into the Uncommon Schools community for their entire K-12 experience, where we are fiercely committed to supporting students in getting to and through college.

Before Care: 7:15am - 7:45am
Core Day: 7:45am - 3:00pm
After Care: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
