In early April, families will be notified if their child was accepted into the school of choice. After the lottery, families who apply will be notified on a rolling basis.
Uncommon Schools is committed to ensuring that all families have an equal opportunity to enroll into our schools.

Families that receive offers into our school must complete their school registration form and provide necessary documentation
If your child was offered a seat at one of the schools on the application, you must accept the offer and complete registration to secure your child’s spot at that school. Completing registration includes providing the following documentation
- Two Proof of Addresses
- Child Birth Certificate or Passport
- Immunization Record
- IEP Documentation (if applicable)

Uncommon NYC will hold our New Student Lottery for admission to the 2024-2025 school year on Tuesday, April 2nd at 9am. Information about the location and the time of the New Student Lottery can be found below. Families do not need to attend the lottery in-person as results will be shared electronically via email and text message. Families who are offered admission will also receive a phone call by end of day, Tuesday, April 2nd as well as a mailed letter informing them of their acceptance.
