Image of students cheering on their classmate In early April, families will be notified if their child won an offer in our Lottery to enroll into a school of their choice.

Families who do not receive an offer in the Lottery will be placed on the waitlist and notified on a rolling basis as seats become available. New offers are made to families on the waitlist every day!

Uncommon Schools is committed to ensuring that all families have an equal opportunity to enroll in our schools and many of our current families enrolled after being pulled from the waitlist!

Safe & Supportive Learning Environment

"Our students are incredibly smart and incredibly creative, and it is up to us to see them, to love them, and to give them opportunities to thrive and grow."
—Ashley Anderson Martin, Assistant Superintendent

Commitment to the Success of Every Student

"The connections I've made with teachers, students, and staff members shaped me as a person and as a student. I still keep in contact with my elementary school teachers, and I will be friends with the classmates I've been with since day one even after college."
—Keisha Marcellin, ULCHS Class of '22

Top-notch Teachers & Staff

"You felt a commitment, focus and drive from the teachers and in the quality of education they provide. Having that interaction with the teachers—that one-on-one personal time—that's one of the main reasons why I fell in love with the school."
—Tamika Marcellin, NYC parent

“It feels more like I’m bringing my son to an extended family, where he is going to learn, develop, and grow every single day.”
